Dr. Tattoff to offer free tattoo removal

Bad tatts are everywhere. And, for one day only, Southern California’s leading tattoo removal chain, Dr. TATTOFF, has made it their mission to rid Angelenos of old body graffiti by offering free tattoo removal. For the first time ever, Los Angeles’s tattooed community will congregate in one place to remove their bad body art. This is not to be missed!
On February 25, 2008 anyone who shows up between the hours of 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Dr. TATTOFF’s Beverly Hills office, located at 8500 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, CA 90211 will receive free treatment. Patients will be treated on a first come first served basis and can get up to six (6) inches treated.
The idea for OPERATION INK-OFF originated with Dr. TATTOFF Medical Director, Dr. Will Kirby. As one of the country’s foremost experts on tattoo removal and current star of E!’s Dr. 90210, Dr. Kirby has met many people who have tattoos they want removed, but who lack motivation to begin the removal process.
“In my business, I am constantly meeting people who want to get their tattoos taken off but for one reason or another have not started. It’s a new year, and I thought what a great way to help people by cleaning up their old graffiti and giving them a fresh start.”
Dr. Kirby will personally be on-hand that day to meet and treat patients, along with Dr. TATTOFF nurse and former “Bachelor” winner, Sarah Brice. HER Energy Drink has also graciously agreed to donate drinks to attendees.
Other confirmed celebrities include Dr. TATTOFF founder “My Fair Brady” star Christopher Knight, actor Jai Rodriguez, and “Bachelor” star actor Charlie O’Connell.

Curses! There's another "Bachelor" breakup! In Touch is reporting Charlie O'Connell (brother of Mr. Romijn, Jerry) and his nurse-lady, Sarah Brice, have hit Splitsville after two years together. A lifetime in reality TV show hookup years!

"We split a few months ago -- it was a clean breakup, nothing out of control," Sarah told the mag. "I definitely thought I'd spend the rest of my life with him -- I think we both did -- but there were some things between us that we couldn't resolve." Maybe the fact that they met on a TV show?!

Sarah says she's still "best friends" with the Charlie, who "starred" in "Dude, Where's My Car?" and added, "We still love each other a lot."

And in case you were wondering who'll get the couple's dog, Lucy, sleep tight. Sarah's keeping her.

From grace: Anything on the new Bachelor?
Korbi Ghosh: Gotta step in here for K.V., 'cause K.G. has some craziness to share! On Friday, I stopped at Urth Caffé to have lunch...and whom did I find myself sitting next to but Charlie O'Connell and Sarah Brice, the girl he picked on The Bachelor? What are the chances?! And what did I overhear?! They were freakin' breaking up! I couldn't believe my ears. Basically, it sounded like Sarah is ready to start planning a wedding, but Charlie isn't. In fact, I heard him say he isn't ready to even think about getting married. He was very sweet and kept apologizing to her. They were very quiet and seemed sad. Looks like the end is near for yet another Bachelor duo...

Kraken Name Game Praised

Charlie O'Connell, who stars in the upcoming SCI FI Channel original movie Kraken: Tentacles of the Deep, told SCI FI Wire that he thought it was a brilliant idea to have SCIFI.COM visitors pick the movie's name. Kraken was originally titled Deadly Water and features former Sliders star O'Connell, Victoria Pratt and Jack Scalia, battling a massive squid that protects a much sought-after relic.

"That was a lot of fun," O'Connell said in an interview. "The only thing that threw me off was that in the beginning I was telling my mother to look out for Deadly Waters. But I think [Kraken] is a great name, and I think it's a lot of fun to have the fans interact right from the beginning. I think it gets [the movie] a lot more hype." (A kraken is a legendary sea monster, taken from an old Norwegian word.)

O'Connell said that he had a great time shooting Kraken. Part of it, he explained, had to do with the fact that he's a major SF fan. "I've been doing sci-fi ever since I did Sliders with my brother [Jerry O'Connell], and that was for SCI FI. It's a lot of fun, because every day is different, and you don't know what to expect. On Kraken, it was a lot of action, a lot of running around. At one point I got to shoot what I call the 'Rambo gun.' I don't know; I have a lot of fun doing these things.
